The current development of the corona virus (COVID-19) in Germany and Europe is causing uncertainty and concern. In view of the justified request by the authorities to reduce social contacts to a minimum, many of you are wondering whether you should come to us at the Center for Endocrine Medicine for examinations. In the following, we would like to provide you with some decision-making aids:
We operate a successful risk management system with regard to corona prevention, proactively based on expert recommendations obtained at an early stage with the aim of ensuring safety for you and our employees. To date, we have successfully protected our practice against COVID-19 with a comprehensive catalog of measures. The measures have been practiced for a long time and are adapted to the requirements on a daily basis.
We can therefore offer you all the necessary examinations in full here - with the restrictions listed below.

The following restrictions apply:
- If you have a fever, cough or cold, please do NOT come to our practice, but contact us by phone or email. The risk of a possible COVID-19 infection will then be discussed in a medical phone call and an appointment made for diagnostics if necessary. However, if a COVID-19 infection is suspected, we will then refer you in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities.
- We do not test for coronavirus infection COVID-19 infection!
In the event that you are a travel returnee from the regions classified as risk areas (see information from the RKI, please act in accordance with the recommendations for travel returnees in Hamburg, you are welcome to contact us if you have any questions, but please DO NOT come to our practice. - If you have contact with a person who is highly suspected of having a COVID-19 infection, please also DO NOT come to our practice, regardless of whether you have symptoms yourself or not. You are welcome to contact us by telephone and we would then offer you a later examination appointment, depending on the course of the case. If you have (had) contact with a person with a confirmed COVID-19 infection, please do NOT come to our practice, please contact your local health authority regardless of your own symptoms:
